CHARTER BOAT MATADOR CATCHES RED SNAPPER AND A LINGCOD AT ENSENADA

Our Ensenada charter boat Matador was skippered by David Silva on the 22nd and took two anglers from San Diego, Pedro Quiroz and his son, for a half-day fishing trip. They boated 1 lingcod and 19 red snapper.

Ensenada fishing area weather was nice and calm but with a lot of current, but they still made a limit day for the father and son team vacationing in Ensenada with their family.

All the fish were caught with live bait using the traditional dropper loop with 3 hooks. They fished the north side of Isla Todos Santos, where fishing proved to be a bit slow in the morning, and so they moved to Punta Banda and finished the day with limits of good size reds up to 5 pounds each.
