VONNY'S FLEET PANGAS CATCH FULL ICE CHESTS WHILE FISHING AT PUNTA BANDA

Dec. 4-10, 2005, Ivan Villarino, Vonny's Fleet, Punta Banda, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico:

On Tuesday, we had our first Ensenada fishing run of the week, and Jay Johnson went out to the tip of Punta Banda with Capt. Beto, managing to get an ice chest full of bottom fish: 8 nice calico bass, 5 lingcod, assorted reds, white fish and various other bottom fish.

Fishing on Wednesday, Lester Ellet and his friend George from Los Angeles California went out with Capt. Beto the Vonny-I. They caught a few bottom fish and George caught a nice yellowtail of 22 pounds by tossing iron. Ensenada weather was partly cloudy, temperature 56s-70s, winds calm, water temp. 60s F.

On Thursday, Lester and George fished again on the Vonny-I, and they did bottom fish. Matt Gora and his friend also went out with Capt. Hector Zamora on the Vonny-III, and they caught bottom fish and 2 yellowtails on iron.

On Friday, Jay Johnson went out fishing with Beto, and they caught some nice bottom fish, 1 bullet yellow and a 17 pound sheep's head.

On Saturday, Wess Whitehall went out to Punta Banda the Vonny-I with Capt. Beto, and they caught limits of bottom fish in Santa Ana weather 70s F.

Ensenada fishing area swells were about 3 feet, water temperature 60s degrees, calm winds.
