33-FOOT SUPER PANGA FISHING AND SNORKELING WITH HECHO EN MEXICO TOURS
Jan. 21, 2007, Hecho en Mexico Tours, charter boat Pacific Ocean, Bahias de Huatulco, Oaxaca, Mexico:
Here is my Huatulco fishing report for the charter sportfishing boat "Pacific Ocean." Today, I caught 6 chula, 3 buco, and 9 pargo on the morning inshore trip.
On Saturday, the Pacific Ocean fished offshore and produced 3 dorado in the 6 kilo range, and one 12 kilo yellowfin tuna, for dinner.
We only had 2 fishing trips this week. Everyone has been going on snorkeling trips with us this week.
The water clarity along the Mexican coast at Huatulco is still off due in part to the offshore winds that have been whipping around.
The blue water has moved closer to shore and today I counted 39 turtles on the Pacific Ocean's 4 hour offshore trip.
Jan. 14, 2007:
Angler Carlos Acosta of Texas had a catch aboard the Pacific Ocean of 2 dorado of about 10 kilos, and 6 yellowfin tuna of 6 to 12 kilos, plus and "endless supply" of bonito.
Huatulco fishing area weather for the 33-foot center console panga Pacific Ocean had some currents, with the tuna caught 4 to 6 miles off the lighthouse and the dorado found on a weed line. Water clarity has been a little cloudy but expected to clear in the next week.
