BOATS FIND GOOD MIXED INSHORE AND OFFSHORE ACTION

A good mix of both offshore and inshore action continues in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo.
While the Sailfish activity continues to heat up, a fair amount of Marlin, Tuna and Dorado have been reported.
Inshore, the big schools of YELLOWTAIL JACKS have dominated the action but several BIG ROOSTERFISH were also reported with many more "follows" as anglers are keying on topwater pencil popping.
Returning New Jersey anglers, Ron & Jeff Reinhardt fishing 3 days aboard the Ixtapa Zihuatanejo charter fishing boat Dos Hermanos 1 with Captain Adolofo landed 38 Yellowtail Jacks, 3 Roosters to 50 Lbs along with 2 SAILFISH. The duo also reported several more SAILFISH strikes. Joining Ron & Jeff were friends John & Jeff Albert who fished 3 days aboard the Janeth landing 12 YELLOWTAIL JACKS and loosing 1 BIg Blue Marlin.
Somerset New Jersey angler, Robert Nemeth fishing 4 days aboard the Ixtapa Zihuatanejo fishing boat Dos Hermanos 1 landed 8 SAILFISH, 11 YELLOWTAIL JACKS, 15 BONITOS, and 2 ROOSTERFISH.
Frank Williamson owner of PESCADO DEL SOL and son Edward fishing 3 days out of the Casa Las Brisas in Puerto Vincente Guerrero landed 4 SAILFISH and 28 Bonitos aboard the Dos Hermanos 2, and aboard the Grande Jefe landed 5 SAILFISH, one with a hand line, 12 DORADOS, 6 SHARK and 63 BONITOS.
Mr Simmons finished up his week of Ixtapa Zihuatanejo fishing aboard the Vamonos 3 with Captian Chiro by landing 4 SAILFISH on his last two days.
Texas Angler Mr. David Immel also fishing aboard the Vamonos 3 landed 2 SAILFISH on his first day offshore.
Oklahoma angler Bernard Guzik fishing 3 days aboard the Ixtapa Zihuatanejo boat Secuestro landed 2 SAILFISH, 8 YELLOWTAIL JACKS,and 5 Bonitos.
California Angler Michael Kennedy fishing two days aboard the Grande Jefe landed 1 SAILFISH, a 160 LB YELLOWFIN TUNA, 12 Bonitos, 4 Needlefish and lost a huge Roosterfish that ate one of the Bonitos and broke the line.
Captain Candelerio reported 3 YELLOWTAIL JACKS, 4 NEEDLEFISH and a handful on Bonitos on the last day of fishing for his European client Mr Noseda.
Warmer inshore waters in the upcoming weeks should make for some red hot Roosterfish action. Ixtapa Zihuatanejo fishing weather had no rain, but cloudy afternoons with a northwest wind. Sea Conditions were Calm to Moderate.
