OFFSHORE PANGAS FIND DORADO, TUNA, AND WAHOO
Oct. 3, 2003, Gerardo Hernandez, Tortuga Sportfishing, Las Arenas, La Paz, Mexico Fishing:
The weather this week was 78 to 94 degrees, not as hot and no humidity, at Ensenada de los Muertos and the surrounding La Paz fishing areas. The sea had been completely calm.
We had no wind at all, just very good days, and very good fishing, with the captains catching dorado mostly of 25 to 35 pounds, tuna of 15 pounds, and wahoo of 30 to 35 pounds. We have lots of sardina and squid bait.
The fishing continues to be around Ensenada de los Muertos, San Isidro and Boca del Alamo, and La Paz fishing area water temperatures remained in the 80s.
