THREE DAYS OF FISHING WITH TORTUGA FLEET'S CAPT. HUGO

Aug. 18, 2005, Lyle Coleman, Las Arenas, La Paz, Mexico Fishing Report:

Just returned from 3 days of "hard" fishing" with Capt. Hugo of Tortuga Sportfishing. This time of the year La Paz fishing should really have been good, but it wasn't. Water conditions, moon, temperatures, bait were perfect, but there were very few fish. Some blame the weather, most blame commercial fishing. We did get 4 Roosterfish, ranging from 30 to 40 pounds and a few 15 pound Dorado. It appears to be a missed season.
