OFFSHORE FISHING BY THE BOAT EL PESCADOR

The fishing has been really good at Puerto Vallarta, especially at Corbetena yesterday. I took a day fishing with my friend Larry Lionetti on his boat El Pescador and had a great day. We started the day catching some bait, skipjack and small tunas. We had them trolling for 10 min. and the first fish hit. It was a black marlin. After that we decided to look for the schools of Big Tunas so we started heading Northwest from Corbetena and found a piece of log full of Dorados so we caught 4 of them, big bulls.

After that we found the Tunas and got 3.

Then trolling back to Puerto Vallarta we hooked up a Wahoo and that was our day.

Other Puerto Vallarta fisherman that were fishing on El Banco came to corbetena because they said that the fishing was too slow. Other boats fishing outside the bay, just passing the marietas island, were catching Dorados and Sailfish.

The water turns clean after the marietas but it doesn't get really blue until Corbetena and the water temp. has been 88 so is been good.

Puerto Vallarta weather has been nice, flat seas just like everyone likes it. The fishing at this time of the year and this coming month is really the best time.
