LOCAL SPORTFISHING BOATS CONNECT WITH TUNA OF 40 POUNDS

April 23, 2005, Bob Blair, Fishing San Carlos, San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico Fishing Report:

I just got off the water and I know there were 20 to 30 San Carlos sportfishing boats out there. The yellowfin tuna are here in the 40-pound plus range and they are everywhere. San Carlos fishing boats are filling up and going in before noon. Tuna are being reported at 18, 21, 25, and 30 miles out of San Carlos. They are everywhere.

The "Too Much Fun" went fishing out of San Carlos yesterday on a charter and caught two 40-pound yellowfin tuna.
