LOCAL SPORTFISHING WATER TEMPERATURES APPROACHING 90 DEGREES
July 9, 2005, Bill Molden, San Carlos, Mexico Fishing Report:
The Dorado catching in the San Carlos fishing area continues to be sparse. The water temperatures are edging up to the high 80's to low 90's.
Billfish are everywhere around San Carlos and the occasional Yellowfin/Skipjack Tuna are still to be found.
If you can get across to Isla San Marcos on the Baja side, there have been reports of good Dorado/Yellowfin fishing.
The seas have not been kindly this week and we have the San Carlos International Fishing Tournament coming up on the 14-17 of this month, so let's hope for some decent seas.
