MEMORIAL DAY VACATION TRAVELERS DEPARTING TOWN

Hola everyone from Hot humid San Felipe...where the moisture level has been high all week and all the smart fish are staying in the water....The sky is high and blue this morning with a slight haze...and San Felipe bay is cerulean blue and calm....The water temperature is in the high 70,s and reports are that the swimming is WONDERFUL...and looking out over the bay, it is very tempting..... The moon has been INCREDIBLE for the past couple of nights....the kind of thing calendar companies wait for....somebody actually called me up the other night and said "look out of your window!" that's how spectacular it's been. The great exodus from San Felipe after Memorial Day Weekend occurred last Monday...and as always it's an astounding change...On Sunday night there was barely room to turn around in...on Monday night you could fire a cannon down Mar de Cortez and not have to worry about hitting anyone....and except for an occasional tourist passing through, San Felipe has been very quiet all week.....
