LOTS OF VACATIONERS ARRIVING FOR WINTER EVENTS

At San Felipe the temperature is perfect (77F) and where the wind has suddenly really picked up....it was relatively calm when I got here at 9AM but now it is so breezy that I have had to bring my portable book shelf inside...it was threatening to blow right over (and it's very heavy) so that gives an idea of just how breezy it is.

The humidity is around 45% and San Felipe water is a warm 82F...and last night was super for sleeping at 70F.

There is a foot race going on in San Felipe today....I can't seem to find anyone who is really sure how long it is...but I would imagine 5k....the wind picked up right after the runners took off....so lets hope they aren't running INTO it.

The town continues to pop...lots of visitors this weekend and all kinds of events coming up. The San Felipe Shrimp Festival will take place on November 4, 5, and 6.....and I'm hearing that the Snow Bird Festival will be November 26th (although that isn't carved in stone yet). The tide is out and small wavelets are running very fast where the foam meets the shore...there are flags tossing gaily in the breeze and music playing on the Malecon....it's simply a really lovely, jaunty day..... Hasta la vista y vaya con Dios all...from the San Felipe book store by the bay.
