JUST A FEW SIERRA AND POMPANO
CAUGHT AT PAPA FERNANDEZ LANDING

Nov. 6, 2004, Doug Magee, Papa Fernandez, Bahia Willard, San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico Fishing Report:

Things are about the same at Papa Fernandez. Nothing new to report. Sierra, Pompano, etc. Lots of bait in the water. Papa Fernandez water temp has dropped to 76 degrees, but no bite to speak of. It has been overcast, mixed with wind. We had gusts to 55 m.p.h. during the week. The prerunners for the Baja 1000 are out in force, some running at speeds over 90 m.p.h. on the road between Oakie Landing and Rancho Grande, making travel on the main road, let's say very interesting. About 30 vehicles, trucks buggies and motorcycles, went through here on Friday.
