YELLOWTAIL AND A MIDRIFF DORADO

July 2-7, 2005, Dana Kerby, Baja Sportfishing, Inc., Erik, San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico Panga Mothership Fishing Report:

For its 13th fishing trip of the season out of San Felipe, Mexico, the Erik, with 24 open party anglers, fished at: Refugio, Punta Diablo, Vibora, San Estevan, Cardonoso, Punta Final, and the Encantadas. It was too windy for the Golden Reef this week. Fish caught: 285 yellowtail; 102 cabrilla; 23 white seabass; 4 grouper (one was 40 pounds); 38 pargo; 16 leatherback grouper, all in the 40 pound range, with some were released; and one dorado!
