FEW TOURISTS IN TOWN
Sept. 25, 2005, Catalina Meders, Title Company Bookstore, San Felipe, San Felipe, Baja California, MexicoTown Report:
Hola everyone from San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico, where it is a little less humid today than it has been. Yesterday it felt like we were living INSIDE an aquarium.
Today the thermometer on the balcony says 85 degrees and it's about 35 percent humid. The overnight temperature at San Felipe was in the high 70's and yesterday it went up to 106 degrees on the balcony. A few days ago we were down in the double digits but it's decided to climb again. This has been one long hot summer folks.
San Felipe has been very quiet since Mexican Independence Day, and with very few tourists. The Snow Birds are starting to slowly trickle in, and the golf course is up and running. San Felipe's weekly swap meet starts next Saturday so it seems that "The Season" is finally beginning. We'll keep you informed about upcoming activities of course. Until next week, vaya con Dios from the bookstore by the bay.
