WINDY, COOL WATER CONDITIONS
AND SLOW FISHING AT LOS CABOS

July 8, 2005, Bob Lewis, San Jose del Cabo, Baja fishing, Mexico:

This week has been windy, with cool water and slow fishing at San Jose del Cabo (Los Cabos). La Playita charter fishing boats haven't had many clients, and with wind and seas rough, haven't sent many out. A few very occasional wahoo and dorado, one 60 pound amberjack, and triggerfish are about it. Sportfishing boats going out 30 plus miles are looking for porpoise and the tuna that run with them, but not many seen. There was a small hammerhead caught and kept. The good news is that the weather is cool for now.
