PACIFIC SIDE FISHING AT CABO SAN LUCAS ABOARD
THE PISCES FLEET CHARTER BOATS TRACY ANN AND LA BRISA

Oct. 23, 2004, Merle Erickson, Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico Fishing Trip Report:

Fishing with my friend Shiing-wu Wang from Newport Beach:

October 16th aboard Tracy Ann (Pisces Fleet) with Captain Julio Castro:

Fished the pacific side of Cabo San Lucas, between 1/2 mile from shore and the Golden Gate Bank taking 15 dorado (mostly under 10 pounds, all but two dorado released), 1 wahoo (55 pounds), 2 tuna (20 pounds) and a striped marlin (released, 120 pounds).

October 17th aboard La Brisa (Pisces Fleet) with Captain Rey Winkler:

Fished the Pacific side inside the Golden Gate Bank for 10 dorado to 20 pounds, all but two released. Had two wahoo strikes that didn’t stick, and baited a striped marlin that was not hungry.

October 18th aboard Tracy Ann (Pisces Fleet) with Julio Castro:

Fished the Pacific side on the inside and then trolled out to the Golden Gate Bank around noon. Caught 7 dorado (all in the 20-25 pound class), 1 wahoo (45 pounds), 1 sailfish (70 pounds, released), and 1 striped marlin (140 pounds, released).

Cabo San Lucas Fishing Trip totals: 32 dorado (most released), 2 tuna, 2 wahoo, 2 striped marlin (released), 1 sailfish (released). Great mixed bag fishing with tons of action.
