POST-STORM DIVING WATERS STILL MURKY AT EAST CAPE

Oct. 8, 2005, Ash Pickering, Vista Sea Sport, East Cape diving, Mexico:

After the hurricane fallout, the first few diving days of the week at East Cape were a little murky and cool, with water temperatures down to 79 degrees. This did a nice turnaroud for the end of the week, with water East Cape temperatures heading back up to 84 degrees, and visibility back up towards the 60 foot mark. We have a couple Goliath Grouper hanging around in the Cabo Pulmo marine park, and the Sea Lions seem to have also made their way back. Colourful schools of Panamic Porkfish and Bluelined snapper are a favourite for the divers.
