MEXICO FISHING TRIP IS PRODUCTIVE IN CALM SEAS

March 20, 2005, Mark Blucker, La Jolla Camp, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico Fishing:

Kim Giberson of Irvine and I went fishing at Ensenada on Friday on calm seas for a great mix of big bonita, red snapper, lingcod and five yellowtail to 20 pounds. We fished at Ensenada's Punta Banda on the Vonny III with Capt. Cruz. I can tell you it's so much easier and productive to go fishing with the pros, even though I have a skiff on hand. I learned a lot about fishing in an Ensenada area that I have fished for years on my own boats. When we go to Bay of L.A. with our boat I will go out fishing first with a local Captain.
