LATE-SEASON MAHI-MAHI SHOW UP FOR LOCAL BOATS

Nov. 20, 2005, Jonathan Roldan, Tailhunter International, La Paz, Mexico Fishing Report:

It was a slow fishing week in La Paz in terms of fishermen, but for those who fished, La Paz continues to kick out late season dorado (also mahi-mahi or dolphinfish). The fish are sizable and respectable, with some 30 pound bulls, despite the fact that it's almost December. Water temperatures dropped about 4 degrees this past week and it's definitely windy and choppier with each passing week, but my skippers swear to me that we'll continue with dorado into December.
