FEW ANGLERS IN TOWN FOR CHARTER SUPER PANGA DHAMAR

Oct. 1. 2005, Danny Gomez, Dhamar Sportfishing, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Fishing Report:

This week was slow for my panga. I only had one fishing charter for six hours, so we fished at Punta Mita. We caught and released three roosterfish around 35 pounds, and one was well over 55 pounds. That was fun because we had to make big baits. They don't want to bite on caballitos.

But, my deckhand and I did work hard, because I also run a 46 foot Bertram. We got one strike on giant tuna, but we lost it after 10 minutes. I went out to the drop off northwest of the rock, and a black marlin come to a 10 pound bonito, but I guess he didn't want to eat. We rigged a bunch of mullets, and we got two nice bull dorados. That's my fishing report for the Puerto Vallarta panga Dhamar, and the Sincuidado.
