WINDS DROP SPORTFISHING WATER TEMPERATURES TO 71 DEGREES

May 8, 2005, Steve Calvert, San Carlos, Mexico Fishing report:

Rough seas and windy conditions kept most of the San Carlos sportfishing fleet off the water. Catch-22 fished both Friday and Saturday. Water temperatures in the San Carlos fishing area dropped to 71 degrees. We found blue water both days at 38 miles out of San Carlos, at 210 degrees. We put a limit of medium sized dorado in the box both days and released lots more. The dorado fishing action was very good. Only a few marlin were spotted and we released on striper on Friday. Some tuna were also reported by Bob Blair's boat Too Much Fun.
