PANGA MOTHERSHIP ERIK TO SAIL FOR LA PAZ

Sept. 4-9, 2004, Dana Kerby, Baja Sportfishing, Inc., Erik Mothership, Midriff Islands, Sea of Cortez, Mexico Fishing Report:

There were only 13 fishermen on board. Yellowtail - 134, Cabrilla - 75, Dorado - 24, Giant Squid - 20, Pargo 6, White Seabass - 5, and one grouper of 120 (plus) pounds. Caught by Marcos Wilson of Gilbert, Arizona.

The boat visited Puerto Refugio, La Vibora, Suspiros, Isla Partida, Isla Raza, San Bernabe, Las Animas, Salvatierra and the Encantadas.

There was a lot of excitement for a group in one of the pangas who saw and were able to touch a whale shark. The last trip of the San Felipe season is out this week. This has been a really successful year for us, and we have a lot of good things planned for next year.

The ERIK will be going to La Paz for a 10-day ecological trip which starts Oct. 17, then at the end of October we'll be in Mag Bay for 3 fishing trips in that area.
