INFORMATION FOR THE 2004 BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR SEASON

Our official Cabo San Lucas Fishing Host Resort for this year's Los Barriles leg of the Baja Offshore Circuit has been changed to the Buena Vista Beach Resort

For the first time, both of our AutoExotica-Bisbee's Cabo San Lucas - based tournaments will be hosted by the Melia San Lucas Resort , which is perfectly located in the center of Cabo San Lucas’ outer harbor beach. From the moment you arrive at the Melia San Lucas, you'll be captivated by their spacious, well-appointed lobby, which happens to over look their vast pool deck (with large swim-up bar), which, happens to over look Cabo San Lucas' Medano Beach and famous arch. It is a truly a magnificent setting to behold. This great property will surely fill fast, so please join our staff and sponsors and make your reservations for the Melia San Lucas early. All of the Cabo San Lucas tournament functions for our "Los Cabos Offshore Tournament" (Oct. 15-17) will be held on the pool deck of the Melia, including registration, the kick-off party and the awards banquet. This is sure to be the most beautiful setting we've ever had for the event!

The dates for this year's Cabo San Lucas Black & Blue are October 19th - 23rd. This is our normal week for presenting the tournament and Cabo San Lucas does get busy then, so be sure to book your air, hotel and boat as soon as possible. All of the tournament functions for the Black & Blue (including Registration and the Kick-Off party) will take place at the Puerto Paraiso Entertainment Plaza, where we held the awards banquet last year.

EAST Cape Offshore Tournament - August 3-7 (fishing days: 4th, 5th & 6th)

Our official Host Resort for this year's Los Barriles leg of the Baja Offshore Circuit has been changed to the Buena Vista Beach Resort at (800) 752-3555. This is a very famous resort destination less than one mile down the beach from our previous host hotel. Our new venue is a beautiful resort and we have been assured by the owners of this beautiful property; Jesus "Chuy" Valdez, and his sons Esaul and Axel, that their staff will provide you with our best East Cape tournament experience yet. There are rooms and boats available now. You will want to get your reservations in as soon as possible since the 60 bungalow-style rooms will fill fast. Remember to tell them you're coming in for the tournament as they have implemented a special weekly rate for the event.

For those of you bringing your own boats, the Valdez family has made the necessary fuel and water taxi arrangements to provide you with the most convenient service possible. There will be plenty of room directly in front of the resort to anchor and moor. If you have particularly large refueling requirements, you can give them the information in advance by calling the general (800) 752-3555 reservations number.

EARLY BIRD ENTRY DRAWING:

The entry fees for the Cabo San Lucas Black & Blue will remain the same at $5,000 per team, and $2,000 per team for the Release Division, with the optional "Daily Jackpot" categories being $200 per day, and/or $500 per day, and/or $1,000 per day, and/or $2,000 per day. We're again offering an "Early Bird" drawing between all of the teams that have entered by August 1, 2004. The drawing's winning team gets their $5,000.00 entry fee back. The same is possible for all of the Baja Offshore Circuit tournaments where the team entry of $1,200 will be returned to the winner of the drawing. We will be drawing the Early Bird winner at each Awards Banquet. Remember, for every month prior to the event that you enter, you will receive an additional "chip" that will be placed into the drawing. So, if you enter the Black & Blue for example, in February, (7 months prior to the 8/1/04 deadline) your name will be entered into the drawing 7 times versus just one! The earlier you get your entry in, the more chances you will have to fish for FREE.
