CABO SAN LUCAS FISHING TRIP REPORT

Aug. 28-Sept. 3, 2004, Rick Cooper, Cabo San Lucas fishing trip report, Baja Californiai Sur, Mexico:

Fishing 8/28 to 9/3, 4 times Cabo San Lucas fishing the 95, two days, 2 days off the light house, rick & james cooper, upland, rob & bo hayden of santa maria, bo's first time on ocean catching 35 lb yellowfin, Cabo San Lucas catch included 1 marlin, l sailfish, l wahoo, 25 dorados, 24 tunas, fished 9/3 port closed to start many laughed when we left on the boat johanna, l marlin & released by rob hayden, l sailfish caught and released by rick cooper, l dorado, l wahoo, 3 tunas, crew wearing foul weather gear, we got soaked but fishing great 2 days surf fishing towards todos santos many sierra, a few red snapper, and fish did not know. drove from southern cal, on the trip home. after leaving la paz we encountered many roads that looked like rivers with cars backed up we got gruas, towed, many times, why doesn't feds let you know roads flooded, took over 48 hrs to get home, even went up on a berm and got on flat bed to cross a river, Solmar told us when leaving roads were clear and no rain, ha ha.
