Striped marlin action set the pace for Cabo San Lucas with fishing boats averaging 2 billfish per boat day.
Early in the week, the Cabo San Lucas boat "Fish Cabo" reported for a single day with 4 stripers released and the "Juanita VII" fishing 2 days reported 2 stripers released.
Cabo San Lucas' Gaviota Fleet reflected 2l fishing days and 40 stripers, (38 released) 2 dorado and 14 yellowfin tuna.
Top billfish boats for the week were "Gaviota VII" & "Gaviota IX", both reporting 10 stripers released for 5 fishing days each.
Cabo San Lucas Climate: 60 nightime to 84 daytime highs, mostly sunny and warm.
Cabo San Lucas Sea Conditions: Water ranged from 71 at the Golden Gate to 75 at the Gordo Banks.
Best Cabo San Lucas Fishing Area: Continued to be just off the Cabo Falso Ridge, 3-10 miles out.
Best Lure/Bait: Live bait was very important with the feeder action and the drift fishing techniques.
Live bait supply: Pacific greenback mackerel, very good supply.
