FISHING AT CABO SAN LUCAS ABOARD THE CHARTER BOAT MARISOL III

July 8, 2005, Charlie Whitesell, Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico Fishing Trip Report:

I fished 25 miles off the lighthouse at Cabo on the Marisol III with Capt. Manuel without success on July 5. The water temperature was a surprising 73 degrees, but the air temperature was in the low 90s. While fishing, we did manage to raise 4 marlin, a wahoo and mako, but couldn't get them to take live bait or lures. Panga fishing on the panga Cheers with Capt. Ramon was equally slow. Sea conditions at Cabo San Lucas were relatively smooth with winds out of the west.
