Baja Fishing At Erendira, Mexico, with Capt. Wito

Curt Stromstedt and I went fishing at Castro's Camp on Saturday, Feb. 26th. We fished to the north about seven miles in 80 feet of water. Our skipper was Wito. Fishing conditions were good in the morning. However the wind came up around 10 a.m. and made it bumpy. Fishing was a little slow for this Erendira area. We scored on sheepshead, vermillion reds, and one lingcod. Fernando indicated that he ordered new fiberglass pangas with four-stroke engines that will be delivered in June. We will definitely be making reservations. Castro's is an excellent choice for a weekend getaway.
