CASTRO'S CAMP SENDS 24 BAJA FISHING BOATS OUT IN GOOD WEATHER ALL WEEK
May 29, 2005, Fernando Castro, Castro's Camp, Erendira, Baja California, Mexico:
This week Castro's Camp had 24 boats fishing out of Erendira, and we caught lingcod, red rockcod, calico bass, sheephead, barracuda, whitefish, four white seabass, and six large yellowtail.
The fishing weather at Erendira during the week was very good all week long, and the water color was clear blue. The water temperature in our main fishing area was 61 degrees, 6 miles out from Erendira.
At the beginning of the week, Castro's Camp was visited by a group of anglers from Oceanside who fished on the 23rd and 24th of May and with them the Rancho Bernardo Anglers Club, with Barbara Gattuso and her father Ed Windsor. We also had a group with wives led by Ted Kim, and another family group with Javier Barrer.
