BIRTHDAY FISHING TRIP TO CASTRO'S CAMP

Oct. 15, 2005, Art Smith, Castro's Camp, Erendira, Mexico Fishing Trip Report:

My brother Ned Powell and I fished Oct. 12th at Castro's Camp on our annual birthday fishing trip. We were fishing out of Castro's fishing place in Erendira with Fernando about 5 miles north of the camp. We fished on the bottom. We filled up a 120 quart cooler with nice bottom fish. We were the only boat we saw all day. Had a great day fishing. We saw a dead whale at sea all bloated up and heading landward somewhere off Punta San Jose. We had a wonderful trip and Castro's was as always great.
