FISHING TRIP WITH CAPT. WALDO OUT OF CASTRO'S CAMP

Oct. 10, 2005, Johnathan Smith, Castro's Camp, Erendira, Mexico Fishing Trip Report:

Chris Norris and I fished Oct. 6, 2005, north of the landing at Castro's with Capt. Waldo, 4 to 6 miles off the coast. The water was like glass and the fishing was great. We caught 5 lingcods, whitefish, calico bass, red rockcod, big ones, huge sandbass, and many others. The downside was my brother got sick 10 minutes out. So me and Waldo fished and we filled two 164-quart coolers by 2 p.m. What a shame! We stayed at the Castro's Camp cabins.
