San Quintin, Mexico:
Windy Weather Keeps Sportfishing Charter Boats Ashore

July 3, 2005, Pete Hillis, Pedro's Pangas, San Quintin, Baja sportfishing, Mexico:

Winds, winds, winds. Steady winds day and night have prevented many people from getting out. San Quintin fishing boats that did get out and made it to the island were getting scattered yellowtail and white seabass. The yellowtail were brought in on Rapalas and the white seabass was brought in on live bait. We also had regular limits of large reds and lings at the 240 and 15 fathom spots. Winds were dying at San Quintin, with the hopes of a calm July 4th weekend, being that everyone has a full house.
