CALICO BASS AND SANDBASS LIMITS CAUGHT AT SAN QUINTIN

Dec. 18, 2005, Pete Hillis, Pedro's Pangas,, San Quintin, Baja fishing, Mexico:

Joe Ferris and Al and Steve Draciano from the San Diego area fished south of San Quintin at Socorro the one day, but found no white sea bass. They got limits of calico bass and sand bass and the log barracuda were just all over the place.

On their second fishing day they tried the 240 and 6 fathom spots and got limits of rockcod and lingcod and large bonita. They fished with Captain Hector on the Romy.

San Quintin weather has been beautiful. No winds. Very cold in the mornings, warming to the to the mid-70's by 10 or 11 a.m.
